NLUC Outreach - Developing A Collective Vision & Model

Thank you to everyone who came out to the NLUC outreach ‘Trailer’ February 8^th.  There was lots of interest and enthusiasm in Todd’s lively synopsis of what outreach could mean for us as individuals, and as part of North Lonsdale United Church in the days ahead.

Join us for the upcoming workshop, where we will listen to God, seek a common vision of outreach together, and discern a supportive structure and leadership.

• In a world in need of hope… an ordinary little church, against all odds, is uniquely positioned to… reach out, and respond in love.
• Reaching out is an attribute of God’s character before it is a mission of the church. This means person before program… seeing people living out outreach in their daily lives. Some outreach takes the form of programs, but in many cases not.  What does it mean to each of us, and to us here as part of North Lonsdale United Church.

At the workshop, we will help each other see what outreach means in each of our lives, and then as a church we can discern what we may do together.

Please sign up on the board in the narthex, or through the office, by Sunday, February 22^nd, to help us with numbers for set up and lunch.
